Math Help at Home

Hello all,

I have found some wonderful online resources to help students with their homework. Please use these tools, as they are free and available to all.

www.tutor.com/alaska
-Live online homework help seven days a week. This site has live tutors who are all certified teachers or professors who can work with you from 1pm to 9pm AK time. This is available free to all Alaskan students 4th -12th grade, and can even help college freshmen. This is possibly one of the coolest things I've ever seen. :) The password is listed on File under resources. (or see me)

www.PHSchool.com - This is the website for the publisher of many of our math textbooks. For any text published by Prentice Hall, there are online video tutorials for every lesson, video tutors for important concepts, practice tests, and vocabulary puzzles. The homework videos are well done and load quickly, but the video tutors take a while. The link here will take you to the high school texts, but the jr. high are on the site too.

Both these sites have links to them below, and I will add more links as I find them.
Hope this helps,

Mrs. Chiment
